Xanthorrhoea macronema - Bottlebrush Grass Tree - 30 seeds

Xanthorrhoea macronema, commonly known as the Bottlebrush Grass Tree is a grass tree with the usual green strap-like foliage but without a visible trunk - the trunk is there, it is just subterranean.
 
It produces a flower spike to 1m or so, but in the Winter it produces flowers unlike any other grass tree -  the spikes are short and the white-cream stamens are long and give it the look of a bottlebrush. 
As with all Grass Trees it is slow growing but once massed up makes an impressive and low maintenance native sward for coastal, bush and Mediterranean gardens.
