Radyera farragei, commonly known as the Native Bush Hibiscus or Knobby Hibiscus, is an ornamental, shrubby soft wooded, annual to semi-perennial to about 1.5 to 3m in height and width found naturally growing in intermittently wet areas in the interior of Western Australia, Northern Territory, South Australia and New South Wales.It is a fast growing screening shrub with velvety leaves, the whole plant is densely covered by stellate, white or gold, hairs and the leaves are relatively large, green on top, lighter beneath with a bristly texture.The flowers are large, deep lilac in colour, with a darker centre and appear throughout the year.It is at its best in a humus rich, slightly moist, well drained soil in full sun. It is frost sensitive although it can take quite intense inland cold and regenerates after frost damage.It can be grown as an annual or as a perennial.30 premium quality seeds shipped on receipt of cleared funds.
