A WA Native with cute white flower spikes!Myrtaceae species - No shipment to WA or TASThis Melaleuca is endemic to central and SW WA, growing naturally on red sand, sandy clay, clay loam, on stony hillsides, lateritic outcrops, dunes and swales.Growing as a tree or shrub 1 - 7m tall with narrow spoon shaped leaves with a rounded or blunt point at the ends, the leaves contain essential oils, the most abundant being alph-Pinene and 1,8-cineole (Eucalyptol), flower spikes are white to creamy white occurring in Spring to Summer with 4 - 11 individual flowers and are 15mm in diameter.Best in well drained soil in full sun and is frost hardy.Makes a great hedge, garden shrub or tree, windbreak or screen, even as a Bonsai specimen!This listing is for 150 premium quality seeds shipped on receipt of cleared funds.
