Melaleuca diosmifolia, commonly known as the Green Honey Myrtle, is a medium shrub to 3m tall with spirally arranged elliptical leaves, bright green when young and dark green when mature. 
 
Cylindrical lime green flower spikes to 5cm long and are seen in Spring and early Summer. 
A hardy handsome plant for all areas except the tropics and those that experience very heavy frost, this species attracts insects, birds and bees, makes an excellent screen and can be pruned into a formal hedge.
