This interesting Australian native Eucalypt is endemic to WA and grows naturally in loamy, gravelly soils on high grounds, only reaching up to 3m in height but usually smaller with smooth bark and stems, grey and light brown or with some persistent thin strips of ribbony basal bark.
 
Adult foliage is thick, lanceolate 5 - 7.5cm long x 1.5 - 2.5cm wide, concolorous and dull purplish grey in colour with flowers buds occurring in clusters of 9 - 11 opening up in late Autumn to Winter to reveal pale yellow to lemon yellow flowers.
 
Great for cut foliage!
