Banksia seminuda - River Banksia - 10 seeds

This is a fast growing Banksia and one of the largest but can be adaptable in cultivation usually only reaching approximately 13m tall although can be shorter or taller depending on the situation it is grown in. 
Naturally found growing on coastal consolidated dunes near granite outcrops, SW coastal headlands, along watercourses, riverbanks, creeklines in Jarrah and Karri forests.
 
Banksia seminuda has yellow, orange or rarely red flowers from Autumn to Winter that are bird bee and insect attracting, is a good choice for larger gardens, in parks, as a street tree, is also used for woodwork, cut flowers and makes a great screen or windbreak with decorative flowers and seedpods.
 
Grows best in well drained soil in a full sun to part shade position, is non lignotuberous and can be grown in harsh conditions.
