Acacia oxycedrus - Spike Wattle - 30 seeds

This is an interesting small Australian native shrub that has a dense prickly habit with rigid dark green phyllodes to 2cm long with a sharp tip, creamy yellow flower spikes from Winter to Spring occurring naturally in SA, VIC and NSW.  It is fast growing, frost hardy, low mainenance and is adaptable in cultivation.
 
Best in well drained soil in full sun.
 
Great as ahedge plant forming an impenetrable barrier, as a screen, ornamental, erosion control, windbreak, bird habitat and attracts birds, bees butterflies and other insects.
