Acacia buxifolia - Box Leaf Wattle - 30 seeds

This is a small Acacia growing 2 to 4m tall with an erect habit, elliptical phyllodes and golden yellow globular flowerheads occurring from late Winter through to early Summer.
Best in full sun in well drained soils and is moderately frost tolerant.  Occurring naturally in QLD, NSW, ACT and VIC and can be adaptable in cultivation but is not to be planted near pipes or sewer mains due to the vigorous root systems.
 
A good choice as a background plant, on wide verges or nature strips, as a feature, windbreak, shelter in parks and reserves for animal habitats.
